Prášilské jezero
Prášily
Prášilské jezero is a glacial lake set amid dense forests on the slope of Poledník, at the heart of Šumava. Its mirror-like surface, ringed by spruce woodland and boulders, is one of the park's most idyllic spots and comes with a legend of a submerged town. A pleasant marked trail leads to the lake from the village of Prášily, which itself serves as a quiet base for hiking around Poledník and the former Iron Curtain.
