Velké Karlovice
Velké Karlovice
Velké Karlovice is a sprawling mountain resort scattered across valleys in the southern Beskids near the Slovak border. In winter, the Kyčerka and Razula ski areas operate here, while summer draws visitors with hiking and cycling trails, the Razula national nature reserve and the artistic Soláň hill. The village has preserved its Wallachian character with timber cottages, a wooden church and a glassmaking tradition. Thanks to its wide range of accommodation and services, Karlovice is a popular year-round base for a Beskids holiday.
