Vítkův Hrádek
Přední Výtoň
Vítkův Hrádek (Vítkův kámen) is the highest-situated castle ruin in Czechia, rising over 1030 metres above the Lipno reservoir. This border castle was founded in the 13th century by the Vítkovci family, and today the restored tower houses a viewing platform. On a clear day you can see the whole of Lipno, the Novohradské hory mountains and even the peaks of the Austrian Alps. It sits above the settlement of Svatý Tomáš near Přední Výtoň, making it a great excursion from accommodation around Lipno.
